Considered to be one of the most iconic and popular galleries in the world, Tate Modern just had to be included in this Art Trail.

With works selected from a hundred years of art, from modernism in the early 1900s to exciting works created today, this is a beautifully curated and amazingly atmospheric exhibition space. The collection includes works created by artists from all over the world, ranging from Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, Paul Klee and William Blake, to Louise Bourgeois, Rothko, Anish Kapoor, Olafur Eliasson, Ai Weiwei, Tacita Dean, Emily Kame Kngwarreye and Jenny Holzer.

The permanent works are arranged in thematic groupings. The iconic Turbine Hall hosts changing exhibitions and there are events taking place year-round.
