2. FALMOUTH

3. NEWQUAY

Fantastic beaches, great restaurants and top-class surfing mean that Newquay has something for everyone. The railway station will bring you right into the heart of the town.

5. PLYMOUTH

Wander the boutiques, restaurants and cobbled streets of the Barbican and soak up the city's proud place in world history. Take in the same views as Sir Francis Drake as he looked out from Plymouth Hoe on to the Armada.

6. TORQUAY

7. EXMOUTH

The oldest seaside town in Devon, Exmouth is home to two miles of glorious sandy beach. Arrive by train on the Avocet Line which runs alongside the Exe Estuary offering great views. Then walk the South West Coast Path taking in the distinctive red sandstone cliffs.
