Leamington Spa Railway Station, Warwickshire
Slammed doors, unexplained footsteps and spooky apparitions have all been reported by commuters travelling via Leamington Spa Station in Warwickshire.
By 2014 the historic station, originally built in the 1800's, was plagued by so many reports of mysterious goings-on that they employed a dedicated 'supernatural liaison officer' to investigate.
Head of Steam Railway Museum - North Road Railway Station, Darlington
Several sightings have been reported of a young Victorian girl sitting in a third-class carriage at the Head of Steam Railway Museum in Darlington. The girl is usually seen sitting in the far-right compartment at the back of the carriage.
Museum staff members have often reported hearing strange noises coming from inside the carriage including the sound of a child singing and laughing.
Mouslecoomb Railway Station, Sussex
Mouslecoomb Station in Sussex is unusually home to several ghostly dogs that roam the station at night. Eyewitness reports, which date back more than 30 years, include menacing tales of these four-legged phantoms growling and then vanishing no sooner than they appear.
Carlisle Railway Station
Carlisle was once given the title of the UK's most haunted railway station and it's not hard to see why.
The strange and unexplainable happenings have long spooked staff and passengers alike with rumours of a headless apparition, a veiled spirit woman and the ghost of a child.
Bury Bolton Street Railway Station
Be on the lookout for a spooky spectre next time you are in the waiting room at Bury Bolton Street Station. A few years ago, a local man took a photograph of his grandson waiting for a train.
When the image was later developed the youngster could be seen joined by a ghostly figure. Since then, word has spread that the commuter hub might be haunted by a hooded ghoul.
Crewe Railway Station
Dating back to 1837, Crewe Station has had its fair share of spooky sightings. Phantom cats, inexplicable child footprints and a disturbing lift shaft are just a few of the weird phenomenon's that have been recorded.
