Travelling down from London Blackfriars to Sevenoaks, the train passes through several art-oriented stops, including Thameslink stop Peckham Rye, which features heavily in this South London Art Map, with a wealth of small, innovative art galleries to visit. Keep an eye out too for Dulwich Festival Artists' Open House in mid-May, with fabulous exhibitions in artists' homes accessible from Thameslink stop Denmark Hill (close to East Dulwich).
